Marine Wilderness First Responder
This seven-day course is designed for those interested in marine, coastal, and surf medicine. Led by experienced professionals, including RNLI doctors and surf lifesaving medics, the training includes managing medical emergencies in marine environments, water safety, and rescue techniques.
The course emphasises leadership and team bonding, preparing participants to handle emergencies during marine expeditions and events.
Wilderness First Responder
Held over six days on Dartmoor, this intensive course is tailored for outdoor specialists such as guides, instructors, and expedition leaders.
It focuses on providing medical care in remote and wilderness settings, covering topics like patient assessment, trauma management, and environmental emergencies related to heat, cold, altitude, and jungle environments. Selva Alta: Tropical Medicine Course
This two-day course, scheduled for May 15th to 16th, 2025, immerses participants in the UK’s temperate rainforest. It focuses on tropical and jungle medicine, teaching how to diagnose and manage diseases in remote environments.
The course includes wilderness first aid in dense forest terrain, planetary health, and expedition resilience in extreme climates. Leadership & Expedition Medicine – Winter
Set in Morzine, French Alps, from January 19th to 24th, 2025, this course offers a practical approach to working as a medic in remote or extreme environments.
